Teachers for Healthy Kids, a project of the California Teachers Association, is dedicated to improving the health and performance of students, teachers, and staff through addressing issues of children's health coverage, indoor air quality and asthma, and nutrition and physical activity.

Health Outreach
The Teachers for Healthy Kids Health Outreach project works with school districts throughout California to promote the enrollment of children in no or low cost health, dental and vision insurance programs and works to impact state and local policies promoting health coverage for all children.

Healthy Air, Healthy Kids
The Healthy Air, Healthy Kids program aims to improve the health and performance of all individuals in the school community through teacher education and about reducing classroom asthma triggers and by promoting healthier indoor environments and state and local policies that protect all school occupants.
