Because you can’t teach to an empty desk…

Empty desk

As a teacher, you have always known what experts are now discovering - that there is a direct link between children’s health and school success. In fact, the schools of greatest need have the highest number of children eligible for, but not enrolled in, public health insurance programs.

As a trusted messenger of information, you are in a critical position to help distribute information to parents and refer them to those who can help enroll their children in affordable health programs.

Teachers for Healthy Kids can make this easy for you.

Free outreach materials are available upon request that can be distributed to parents at Back to School Nights, Open Houses, parent conferences, or at any informal parent discussion.

Share this information with other school staff. Simply download the order form, send an e-mail or call (916-554-0996) or fax the form (916-441-2615) to receive free outreach materials.
